One of the most frequently asked questions we get is what tools do we use when creating our YouTube videos?
There's so much to go through from our hobby materials to cameras, so we created this handy guide that will help you to get started on your hobby journey...
3D Printing
3D Printers
There are so many different types of resin 3D printers on the market these days, it's hard to know where to start. We recommend the HeyGears line of 3D printers for all your printing needs.
The HeyGears UltraCraft Reflex 3D printer is an awesome addition for hobbyists or professionals looking at getting into resin 3D printing. We love the easy to use interface, large print plate for bigger prints and automatic resin feeder- which means no mess!
But don't forget about washing and curing your prints, HeyGears has options for that too with their UltraCraft Wash and UltraCraft Cure machines, which make the whole process as easy as can be.
So what are you waiting for, go check out their complete setup today and see what's possible!
Paints & Hobby Tools
Paint
While we use a range of different miniature paints here in the studio, our favorite has to be the Vallejo range of paints. From their model color range to their new express paints range- Vallejo have an extensive list of paints that are perfect for your next hobby project.
Hobby Tools
We use a number of different clippers, pliers and other hobby tools when making our creations. We don't have a particular brand or style that we prefer, but feel that whatever is accessible to you will work the best.
Other
For all of our other tools such as painting handles and wet pallets we like to use RedGrass Games line of tools to get the job done. Their miniature painting handle has an awesome 360 degree spin, allowing you paint your minis with ease. Their Everlasting wet pallet is also a huge hit at the studio, making saving and cleaning your pallet and absolute breeze. Check out RedGrass Game's line of awesome hobby tools below.
